On the way to Billows

 

Went the back way to Billows - off of Decker - to see just how well the Ruckus handled - she did great!

Old Billows Airport - one of my favorite places to roam to look for arrowheads.

Looking for Turkey

 

There is a young flock of turkey that called this section home.

But I guess event the Honda engine was a wee bit too loud - didn't spot any.

 It was so beauitful today - that I took the Ruckus for a couple of nice long runs. This one started up at St. Therese Ballfield.

Sons of Italy

It's finally warm enough to ride. So I thought I'd try the Ruck up Sons of Italy.

If you follow this road - it goes up to Browns and eventually across the ridge to the transmitter and down into Westmoreland County.

But I didn't the time for Browns today - so I turned around and headed back down the hill.

Trying to be fancy.

Stopped off at the shooting range - no one was there.

Ended up winging around to the other side of the mountain for a drive up Vassels.

Found this nice size Native American marker pile right off the road. All in all - just a great day to let the Ruck rip up the mountain.

First Mountain Ride

 

Took the Ruckus up the mountain - seeing what she can do - going up to the Fire Tower.

Took a run thru Vassel's - before trying to drive across to Browns.

Heading back to the Fire Tower - the road was far too muddy for me.

All in all - the Ruckus can take when it comes to off roading.
